  • High Court – Breach of Duty of Care & Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977
    Represented a claimant in a substantial damages claim against the Border Force for breach of common law duty of care in handling goods, and statutory breaches under the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977. The case involved detailed evidence on procedural failures and quantification of damages, with Jam successfully presenting both legal and factual arguments in the High Court.
  • Commercial & Contractual Disputes – Fraud, Unjust Enrichment, and Liability
    Acted in complex civil cases involving breach of contract, unexplained financial transactions, fraud, and unjust enrichment. Advised on liability, quantum, and damages, including contributory negligence, and successfully represented clients in interlocutory applications, fast-track and multi-track trials across County Courts and the High Court.
  • Land, Property & Landlord/Tenant – TLATA 1996 & Trust Disputes
    Led multi-day trials in disputes under TLATA 1996, including challenges on validity of trusts, forged trust claims, and unvalued property transactions. Acted in statutory appeals against homelessness decisions, contested possession claims, and social housing disputes. Drafted pleadings and effectively argued complex evidential and legal issues.
  • Costs & Enforcement Proceedings
    Represented both claimants and defendants in cost proceedings against disproportionate claims, advised on breach of contract, negligence, and due diligence for High Court bailiffs. Successfully obtained relief from sanctions and stay of enforcement orders where appropriate.
